Flightcell’s DZM3 delivers two-way voice and data communications via an Iridium satellite transceiver inside the control head.

The DZM3 also delivers cellular modem options for voice and data, plus sophisticated ‘smart’ flight tracking, anywhere in the world. And it’s all seamlessly integrated into a very compact, lightweight environmentally sealed hub.

The world’s most compact and advanced satellite phone, tracking and data system. Event driven position data is also sent including: • Battery on • Engine start • Take-off • Landing, and • Engine stop. DZM3’s event driven tracking is fully programmable on-screen allowing the operator to set interval and event criteria.

DZM3 sends an additional three intermediary positions when necessary with every transmission to show more accurately the path that was flown. • Authorised ground computer terminals can track DZM3 equipped aircraft anywhere in the world without range limitations. • Manual pilot activated positions or points of interest can be transmitted by a single press or with an optional unique identifier code. • Distress activation button for instant distress position escalation via a mapping provider.		When used in conjunction with a mapping provider that supports ARM© or AFF style computerised SAR watch, DZM3 will provide 24/7 flight following when activated. (AFF Compliant for US Dept of Interior Forest Service). • DZM3 position statements are recognised by six tracking providers. DZM3 as a new installation will work alongside other legacy systems in the fleet.
